3. WATER BOARD of LEMESOS - https://www.wbl.com.cy [Partner]

The Water Board of Lemesos is a Legal Entity under Public Law. It was established in 1951, operating under the Water Supply (Municipal and Other Areas) Law. The Board’s sole purpose is to provide sufficient quantity and quality of potable water to the metropolitan area of Lemesos (5 municipalities) and 7 neighboring communities. WBL supplies water to approximately 110,000 properties with a population of 180.000 people. WBL has approximately 1.150 km of water mains and pipes in an area of supply of around 100km2. It has 31 storage reservoirs of 68.800 m3 total water storage capacity and 37 pumping stations. WBL utilizes SCADA systems for monitoring and control of the water supply system. The water supply network and other infrastructure are digitized with the use of AutoCAD and GIS.
