Alexis Kyriacou is a Project Manager and Machine Learning Engineer in PHOEBE.
He received his B.Sc. degree in 2013 from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Cyprus. Since 2014, he has been employed as a Researcher at KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence, where he also completed his PhD in Indoor Air Quality intelligent monitoring and event detection. His research interests include fault detection and diagnosis, optimization techniques, contaminant diagnosis and accommodation in Intelligent Buildings. Alexis is also the founder and CEO of LELANTUS INNOVATIONS LTD, and specializes in developing innovative solutions for IAQ monitoring. Under this capacity, Alexis has coordinated and delivered successfully the RIF funded projects Aura (Pree-Seed) and CoronaSense (Seed-COVID). Moreover, Alexis is a RESET Standard Accredited Professional since mid-2021. This creates the ground for the accreditation of the SIEQUA-CERT solutions and the pilot sites.
