George Milis (PhD)

Dr George Milis (male) is the Research and Innovations Manager in PHOEBE. He has 18 years of experience in project management, ICT and business development. He has a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Cyprus, with expertise in semantic reasoning based intelligent control systems. He also has an MSc in Advanced Computing with specialization in Artificial Intelligence from the Department of Computing, Imperial College London, and a Diploma from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in Electrical and Computing Engineering. He has extensive experience in large-scale Web applications and knowledge management systems, Internet/Intranet applications, data and text mining, knowledge modelling and representation, natural language processing, etc. He has a wide acquaintance with software project management, analysis and state-of-the-art research activities, ranging from the analysis of requirements to the design, development, and change management activities.
